So, in America there has been an interest in how Europe can balance generous immigration with generous welfare systems while being global leaders in the tech-based economy at the same time. The american perspective seem quite surprised that it is possible to combine these factors together. To us, it is quite clear that the three can interrelate in a positive way if immigration is harnessed in the right way. Particularly if you take in at least a medium term perspective and look at the society as a whole. Not just the fiscal balance of any one specific year. However, even if we do not agree with the author’s perspective in all parts it was still a pleasure to receive Cnet and the article does a good job in highlighting a number of on-going and laudable initiatives, including Sync Accelerator, in the Nordic region. Cnet is among the 200 most visited websites globally, as of 2015 so of course we are very happy for this feature. Thanks Laura.
